ISB-89/1 INTRINSICALLY SAFE LOCKING SYSTEM

The ISB-89/1 intrinsically safe interlock system is used to control drives of mining machines and devices.
The ISB-89/1 system consists of the following devices:
• intrinsically safe lock indicator SBI-89/1 (1 piece always placed at the beginning of the system)
• intrinsically safe pass-through signalling device SPI-89/1 (max. 99 pieces)
• intrinsically safe mains power supply ZSI-94/1 (1 piece).
The maximum span of the system is 10 km. The number of pass-through signals used depends on the concept of the system construction and the distance needed between the signals.
Features:
- shutting down and blocking the start-up of mining machines and devices,
- transmission line continuity check,
- location of the drive shutdown point,
- location of the damaged section of the transmission line.
