EFI-AP-22 Access Point

The EFI-AP-22 access point allows you to connect devices operating in the Wi-Fi standard to a LAN built on the basis of fiber optic connections (fiber optic modules in the SFP standard). A detailed description of the implemented transmission standards, configuration method and management description related to the Access Point installed in the device and the managed switch can be found in the user manuals of the devices indicated in the "Appendices" section. The list of SFP modules with which the device cooperates can be found in the table with technical data. The access point is manufactured in two versions depending on the type of Access Point used:

− Access Point type EFI-AP-22 version 1 – Access Point type FAP-U24JEV,
− Access Point type EFI-AP-22 version 2 – Access Point type FAP-221E.

The EFI-AP-22 type access point can be used in mining plants:
- not at risk of methane explosion with the "a" degree of explosion hazard,
- at risk of methane explosion with a "b" or "c" degree of explosion hazard,
- not at risk of coal dust explosion,
− Class A and B coal dust explosion hazard.

The EFI-AP-22 type access point is a category M2 device and its power supply must be switched off in the event of an explosive atmosphere. The access point can be used in rooms/zones at risk of methane or coal dust explosions regardless of the place of installation
