Power Source

The 3ZZI-5/1/24V and 3ZZI-5/2/24V and 3ZZI-5/3/24V power sources can be used in underground mines not at risk of methane explosion. They are used to power the UGS-10 hands-free signaling system and auxiliary devices that require continued operation after a power failure. The 3ZZI-5/1/24V source is designed to power standard hands-free signaling devices on the route, while the 3ZZI-5/2/24V source is used to power devices that draw higher current, e.g. limit signaling devices in the system. The 3ZZI-5/3/24V source can be used in both applications, and is also characterized by quick start-up even after complete discharge (<2 minutes).
