System Local Adapter SAL-16
The SAL-16 Local System Adapter is designed to connect additional inputs and outputs to the UGS-10 system. The device is not made in an explosion-proof version, it is designed to work in an atmosphere free from explosive gases and dust.
DESCRIPTION
The device is intended to be included in the UGS-10 system structure as a network node.
It is powered from the system mains power supply. After the mains power supply is switched off, the communication part is powered from the built-in source (battery) type 3ZZI-5/3/24V, while the inputs / outputs do not function.
The device has eight configurable analog inputs INA1-INA8, each of which can function as:
The adapter has four isolated potential-free outputs OUT1-OUT4 of the electronic contact type, including one with the possibility of frequency control and pulse width modulation (PWM) and two galvanically isolated digital-to-analog converter outputs with the possibility of voltage operation 0-10V or current operation 4-20mA.
Four contact control inputs WE1-WE4 and two contact outputs WY1, WY2 of the BI-SGW block are connected to the additional leads of the multi-level terminal strip. The outputs can operate as a clean contact or a contact with an additional series diode.

- temperature measurement using a PT100 sensor in a two- or four-wire configuration
- control of a contact equipped with a set of ZRK resistors.
