MINED PIECE PRESENCE SENSOR

The mined material presence sensor detects the presence of mined material on the conveyor belt.
The basic function of the sensor is to detect the presence of spoil on the conveyor belt and signal this condition using a built-in LED diode in the sensor and appropriate control of the relay outputs. In the first version, the device can be used for indirect detection of longitudinal cuts in conveyor belts, in this option the sensor can operate as an element of the SDRT-23 cut detection system or as an autonomous device cooperating with any conveyor control system or with a signaling and interlocking system, e.g. ELSAP-05 or UGS-10. In the second version, the sensor is used as a detector of the presence of spoil on the conveyor transport belt. Based on the information from the sensor, it is possible to, among other things, start the intelligent central control mode of the conveyor haulage, which can be implemented in the ELSAP-05/P control system.
