ROK-8EM/B/X/X/X/WX/UX FLAMEPROOF DISTRIBUTION BOARD

CERTIFICATE:

Flameproof medium-voltage switchgear type ROK-8EM/B is used in underground mining plants.

Flameproof distribution panels in the ROK-8EM/B versions are designed for operation in three-phase power networks with a rated voltage of 6 kV and a rated current not exceeding the value of:

  • for the use of flameproof bushing insulators type IPO-…: 630 A. (from the power supply/busbar side) and the current-carrying capacity of a single outgoing track not exceeding 400 A,
  • for the use of flameproof power cable bushings type PPOS-…: 800 A (from the power supply/busbar side) and the current-carrying capacity of the outgoing lines does not exceed 400 A on each outgoing line.
DESCRIPTION

The switchboard type consists of YEAR-8EM/B Distribution panels in the following versions can be included:

  • tributaries YEAR-8EM/B/Do/Y/Z/W/Ux designed to supply power to the switchboard busbars,
  • drains YEAR-8EM/B/Od/Y/Z/W/Ux designed to power and control the operation of receivers in a three-phase network,
  • double drain (compact station) ROK-8EM/B/Od/Y/2xROL/W/Ux designed to power and control the operation of two independent receivers in a three-phase network,
  • clutch YEAR-8EM/B/Sp/Y/Z/W/Ux designed to operate as a reserve switch between two sections of the switchboard busbars,
  • universal YEAR-8EM/B/U/Y/Z/W/Ux that can operate as inlet, outlet or clutch fields.

In flameproof distribution bays, high-quality e2TANGO microprocessor protection units and medium voltage circuit breakers or contactors in power circuits (ROLLARC, e2BRAVO) are used. Distribution bays are equipped with 2 (busbar and line, single-track version) or 3 disconnectors (busbar and two line, double-outlet version) with EDJAN fast earthing switch (4 combinations of their installation are provided). The use of the above-mentioned switchgear and bay controllers ensures high functionality and a high level of service safety in the energy systems of methane mines.

The distribution fields are equipped with control equipment and optionally with teletransmission equipment in intrinsically safe category "ia". The following types of distribution field control are available:

  • local control (with and without lock),
  • remote control (with and without lock),
  • control and visualization from the dispatch system (via the teletransmission system) in versions supporting an intrinsically safe telephone line (WM) and a digital bus in the RS 422/485 standard (WD) as well as fiber optic buses in the "op is" or "op pr" standards (WS).

Outgoing and dual outgoing feeders can be equipped with a cable earth fault protection system (UOZK) operating in the open state of the main switches and including continuous monitoring of the cable insulation condition by an intrinsically safe earth leakage relay (measuring system category "ia") and a cable test with nominal phase voltage performed immediately before closing the appropriate main switch. The protective system operates independently for each outgoing feeder.

Distribution boxes type YEAR-8EM/B can be equipped with a transformer for power supply of auxiliary circuits with secondary winding parameters of 230 V 2.5 kVA and an additional control circuit. The power supply circuits for auxiliary/control needs have autonomous control implemented by central and blocking relays.
