EM370

The EM370 module is a high-performance HMI module equipped with a color, graphic LCD display and connectors for connecting a membrane keyboard and contact keys, as well as a number of fast communication interfaces, such as Ethernet, RS-485 and CAN. The module has a Linux operating system installed and executes a full-screen application application. The module can be equipped with an SD card for data archiving.
The EM370 module is designed to create operator interfaces in a human-machine system that collect data about the controlled machine or process via communication interfaces.
Examples of module application fields:
- data acquisition from RS-485 and CAN ports and transmitting them via the Ethernet interface to the superior layer,
- visualization of process data. Data can be downloaded from both the Ethernet network and via the RS-485 or CAN serial interface,
- control of a fast-changing process requiring the involvement of a high-performance unit,
- data acquisition and recording to large-capacity non-volatile memory.
The EM370 module is characterized by the following functional elements:
- fast and energy-efficient ARM core processor with a clock speed of 450 MHz,
- memory: RAM 128 MB, permanent Flash 256 MB,
- real time clock,
- 5.7” TFT color LCD display with VGA resolution (640 x 480 pixels),
- 8 tri-color (RGB) LEDs,
- 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet interface,
- two RS-485 921 kb/s interfaces, including one with galvanic isolation,
- CAN interface 1Mb/s,
- interface for connecting a 6x4 matrix keyboard,
- interface for connecting 6 contact buttons,
- SD slot for memory card.
