CERTIFICATE:

The EM310 module is an input/output module that is a component of the ELSAP-12 system controller. The module can be used in underground mines:
- not at risk of methane explosion with the "a" degree of explosion hazard,
- at risk of methane explosion with a "b" or "c" degree of explosion hazard,
- not at risk of coal dust explosion,
- Class A and B coal dust explosion hazard.
The EM310 module is a category M1 device with intrinsically safe protection level "ia" and can operate in the event of an explosive atmosphere.
It should be mounted in a housing with a degree of protection not lower than IP54.
DESCRIPTION
The EM310 module controls two independent relay outputs and monitors the status of six binary inputs with line continuity control. Information about the status of inputs is sent via available internal interfaces to the application module, which uses the same interfaces to control the operation of output systems. The application module in the ELSAP-12 system is the EM340 module. The binary outputs are dedicated to cooperation with the Terminal Resistor Group – ZRK).
